Not really, but perhaps. That's up there for the trolls who believe one's personal blog is up for them to edit and accuse however they may. I'm beginning to think ALL blog entries should begin with that! Petite Petal Precious Flowers can go fuck themselves!

I have spent a lot of time lately thinking about Creepers and how to deal with them. Part of this comes from the whole ReaderCon fiasco where Famous Fan/Guest Creeper was originally given a bye for his smarming all over a female attendee despite Con 'zero tolerance' rules that any harassment was grounds for immediate and eternal banning from said Con. [You can Google "Genevieve Valentine", "Rene Walling" or even just "ReaderCon Creeper" and you'll find it] The ruling was overturned this week and Famous Fan/Guest Creeper Rene Walling is now properly banned for life.
Part of this is because, like most of the female genitalia'd, I have been 'creeped' more than a few times and again, like most of the female genitalia'd, no matter what I have done, it does not work out well.
Politeness never works; it only seems to encourage them.
Directness rarely works. In fact, I have told Creepers in total graphic DETAIL how icky/creepy/disgusting their tactics are and that there is NO WAY IN HELL I am encouraging their delusional and ego-centric social dysfunctions.
Example #1: Ex-SigOth likely started out as a Creeper that I did not immediately recognise as a Creeper. Once I did figure out what his deal was—and this was while we still dated—I gave him the sack. He continued to stalk me for years and basically still does, as the occasional ". . . CreeperAlias has just friended your blog/group/account. If you would like to friend CreeperAlias back, click this linky . . ." emails tell me.
Example #2: After multiple discussions with RepeatCreeperGuy about what is creepy, what is sexually disgusting, and what is So Totally Unacceptable In Any Social Circumstance At All, I find he still basically cannot seem to fathom what the hell I am saying. I finally tried explaining how HIS SPECIFIC ACTIONS would be interpreted by any female who had been sexually assaulted or raped outright . . . and he is as clueless as a mongrel dog. I have to cut him loose, because although I know he honestly does not intend to be repellent or objectionable, he does not know how to act with other adults and I will not tolerate it anymore.
Physical Violence, although very tempting, is something I have tried to avoid as much as possible. Some of these Creepers have no idea how close to a ball-crushing kick in the gonads they have come.
Legal deterrents usually only instigate more of the crazee, so restraining orders, et al, are only asking for the Creeper/Stalker type to pick up a weapon to "insist" upon what they want.
I fall back on my usual idea that Testosterone is a Dangerous Drug and should be heavily regulated. The single thought that SOME Creepers are likely popping The Little Blue Pill so as to be in readiness, or are taking hormonal supplements to ". . . be (their) old self again!" is damned scary. Although, given all the internet comments about ". . . no one will touch my wiener! . . ." in line with Creepers, I am guessing that the real problem is that Creepers end up storing too much of their ejectable hormones for too long within their 501s. However, it is not MY job or YOUR job to give them relief. I believe that's what their hands are for. (Would that make them 'Ejacktable hormones?)
Most men are utterly unaware of how much of this that female-embodied persons must endure. I wish they would understand what is going on and start self-policing their own sex.
